Berlin Gallery Prepares Immersive Ecological Exhibition for Gallery Weekend

BERLIN — Gallery alexander levy will present Anne Duk Hee Jordan’s second solo exhibition, titled Riders on the Storm, opening on May 1, 2026, as part of Gallery Weekend Berlin 2026. The show runs through June 6, 2026, at the gallery’s space in Moabit.

Jordan, a Berlin-based Korean-German artist known for her multisensory installations exploring transience, transformation, and the forces of nature, turns her focus to ecosystems as dynamic, interwoven processes. The exhibition creates an immersive, multisensory environment that invites visitors to experience ecological systems not as isolated events but as deeply relational phenomena.

Central to the presentation is the idea that natural processes unfold in interconnected ways. Works on view include drawings such as The End Is Where We Start From (2024, acrylic and pigment pencils on paper), alongside sculptural and performative elements that animate the gallery space.

“Ecosystems are never static,” Jordan’s practice often suggests, using movement, sound, and materiality to highlight cycles of change, resilience, and interdependence — themes resonant in an era of climate awareness.

The opening reception on Friday, May 1, from 6 to 9 pm will coincide with the bustling energy of Gallery Weekend, drawing international collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts to Berlin’s vibrant contemporary scene.

alexander levy, located at Alt-Moabit 110, 10559 Berlin, has established itself as a platform for conceptually rigorous artists addressing urgent global questions through poetic, sensory means.

This new exhibition builds on Jordan’s acclaimed projects, including large-scale multisensory environments that have been shown internationally, solidifying her position as a distinctive voice in ecological art.
