Orlando Traditionalist Ryan Brann Returns to Denmark’s Iconic Prison Ink 2026

HORSENS, Denmark — Veteran American traditional tattoo artist Ryan Brann, known online as @ghost_mtn, has been officially welcomed back to the 10th edition of Prison Ink Tattoo Festival, organizers announced this week.

Brann, who operates out of Lucky Horse Tattoo in Orlando, Florida, brings his signature bold, bright Americana style to the unique event held inside the historic Fængslet — a former state prison built in 1853 and now a vibrant cultural venue. The festival runs May 14-16, 2026, drawing over 100 international artists from more than 20 countries.

“He is a true old school tattoo artist doing traditional tattoos the Americana way: bold and bright,” the Prison Ink team stated in their artist spotlight. Attendees can expect walk-ins all weekend and an extensive flash collection from Brann’s book, featuring classic motifs executed with the crisp lines and saturated colors that define the genre.

The unconventional setting — complete with prison yard barbecues, street food, an MC meet, classic car displays, and a “Dark Market” arts and crafts area — adds an edgy atmosphere that perfectly complements traditional tattoo culture’s rebellious roots.

Brann’s return underscores Prison Ink’s reputation for blending world-class talent with an immersive, one-of-a-kind experience. Tickets are on sale now via the official festival site.
