Lisbon, Portugal — In a significant step toward bridging the digital and physical worlds of contemporary art, the Cult of Crypto Art (COCA) has been named an official co-organizer of the NFC Summit 2026, the pioneering Web3 pop-culture festival returning to Lisbon from June 4–6, 2026.

The collective will curate and install a dedicated physical art gallery container at the event, transforming a shipping container into a vibrant, immersive space where crypto-native artworks come to life beyond the screen. The installation will feature works by leading crypto artists, exclusive pieces created specifically for the summit, and interactive experiences designed to let attendees “touch, feel, and connect” with digital art in real life.
NFC Summit, formerly known as the Non Fungible Conference, has evolved from a focused NFT gathering into a broader celebration of Web3 culture, encompassing digital art, gaming, AI, fashion, music, and blockchain innovation. The 2026 edition, themed “Year 0,” will take place at the Unicorn Factory Lisboa in the Beato Innovation District, creating a “village” of stages, exhibitions, and collaborative spaces across former industrial warehouses.
Organizers describe the partnership as a natural alignment of visions. “Art deserves more than white walls or static screens,” NFC Summit has emphasized in its programming ethos. The Cult of Crypto Art’s container gallery embodies this philosophy, offering flexible, ambitious exhibition formats that blend physical presence with on-chain provenance.
Cult of Crypto Art has long championed the intersection of technology, creativity, and community. The collective has previously contributed to NFC events through artist curation, ticket artwork collaborations, and AR exhibitions, helping to foster cross-border connections among digital creators. This year’s elevated role as co-organizer marks a deeper commitment to institutionalizing crypto art within major cultural festivals.
“Bringing crypto art into a tangible, breathing space is exactly what the space needs right now,” said a representative from the collective in the joint announcement. “We’re excited to create a destination where collectors, curious newcomers, and fellow artists can experience the energy of on-chain creativity IRL.” More details on featured artists and exclusive drops are expected in the coming weeks.

The move arrives as the broader NFT and digital art ecosystem continues to mature, shifting emphasis from pure speculation toward utility, community building, and real-world integration. By embedding a dedicated gallery within a major Web3 festival, NFC Summit and Cult of Crypto Art aim to demonstrate that blockchain-based art is not merely a financial instrument but a legitimate and evolving medium deserving of physical reverence and public engagement.
Tickets for NFC Summit 2026 are available via the official site, with early pricing incentives for the first wave of attendees. The event anticipates thousands of artists, builders, brands, and collectors converging in Lisbon this summer for what organizers call a “radical experimental” celebration of digital culture meeting creative economy.
As the countdown to June begins, the Cult of Crypto Art’s gallery container stands poised to become one of the visual and experiential highlights of the festival — a bold statement that the future of art is both decentralized and deeply human.
